Booking, coverage, pricing, cancellation and refunds — everything you need to know before you book a scheduled transport with WeDort in Vienna.

Is WeDort scheduled or on-demand?

WeDort is scheduled-only at launch. You pick a date and time slot when booking; the vehicle and driver are reserved for that window. We do not dispatch drivers on-demand.

Which area does WeDort cover?

We currently serve Vienna and a 35 km radius around the city. Routes from pickup to drop-off can be up to 200 km long, which covers most moves from Vienna to surrounding Austrian towns.

Which vehicle can I book right now?

At launch we operate a single vehicle size: the XL Transporter — a large van suitable for studio and one-bedroom moves, furniture pickups and larger deliveries. Additional sizes will be added over time.

How is the price calculated?

Transparent, upfront pricing. €40/h for the vehicle + €20/h per helper, billed in 30-minute increments. Inside Vienna, the first 10 km are free and then €0.30/km. Outside Vienna: 0–50 km €0.50/km, 50–100 km €0.80/km, 100–200 km €1.00/km. A 3% payment processing fee applies on the subtotal.

How long does the job take?

You pick an expected duration when booking. For long-distance routes (over 50 km) a minimum duration applies, scaled by distance, to reflect realistic loading, driving and unloading time.

Can I track the driver?

Yes. Once your booking is confirmed and a driver is assigned, you can see driver details and live status in the app on the day of the job.

How do I cancel a booking?

You can request a cancellation from the app. Our team reviews each request manually, taking into account timing and whether the driver has already been dispatched.

Will I get an automatic refund?

Refunds are not automatic. Once a cancellation is approved, the refund amount is decided based on when you cancelled and processed back to your original payment method. You will receive a confirmation when it is issued.

Are there items you will not transport?

For safety and legal reasons, WeDort does not transport hazardous materials, illegal goods, live animals or items outside Austrian transport regulations. If unsure, contact us before booking.

Is the cargo insured?

WeDort operates under Austrian trade law (GISA 36705269) and all partner drivers are licensed and insured. Transported goods are covered during the job according to Austrian transport liability rules.

What are your service hours?

Our customer support and operations run Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 18:00. Bookings in the app can be created at any time for upcoming slots.

How do I give feedback on a completed job?

After each job you can rate the driver and leave a comment in the app. Feedback goes directly to our ops team and helps us keep quality high.
